KCCF kicks off Nov. 1

The Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, Hawaii’s oldest food festival, begins Friday, Nov. 1, and continues through Sunday, Nov. 10. This year, the Festival celebrates Kona’s famous brew with new exciting events and programs open to the public.

Nearly 40 events offer festival goers programming throughout the 10-days of Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, including historic arts and culture venues, Kona coffee farms and prestigious competitions.

The award-winning Kona Coffee Cultural Festival is recognized as the oldest and one of the most successful food festivals in Hawaii. The ten-day festival promotes Hawaii’s unique culture and diversity and supports the Festival’s mission to preserve, perpetuate and promote Kona’s unique coffee heritage.

The Kona Coffee Cultural Festival is supported as a ‘Major Festival’ by Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) and is made possible through the support of UCC Ueshima Coffee Co., Ltd., Kamehameha Schools, Alaska Airlines, Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union, Kawakami Family of Captain Cook Fund of the Hawaii Community Foundation and numerous other corporate and community donors.

The Kona Coffee Art Show & Competition
Donkey Mill Art Center
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Travel up to Kona coffee country and this restored Kona coffee mill that is now the vibrant home of the Holualoa Foundation for Arts and Culture to enjoy the works of local artists.

Sugai Kona Coffee Talent Night
Konawaena Elementary School
6:30 – 9 p.m.

Festival-goers and fans will be entertained by performances throughout the evening.

* Saturday, November 2

Holualoa Village Coffee & Art Stroll
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Spend the day sampling Kona coffee and strolling this picturesque village with its diverse collection art galleries and local crafts.

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
