Napoopoo Road, South Kona

One-lane closures on the lower section of Napoopoo Road are scheduled for road resurfacing starting Oct. 16 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 2 pm..

The project includes 700 feet of roadway to be resurfaced, starting 1,000-feet of Kealakekua Estates ending at Meli Road.

Roadwork is scheduled for completion Oct. 17.

Mamalahoa Highway, Holualoa, North Kona

Road resurfacing on Mamalahoa Highway continues Monday Oct. 21 in Holualoa town starting from the Kona Hotel and ending at Imin Center.

Roadwork will continue at Mauka Meadows heading north and ending at Komo Store.
