Hawaii County Police are reporting two escapees from Hale Nani Correctional Center in Hilo. The escapees are Robert Garcia and Andrew Wanat who were last seen at 6 p.m. Wednesday (Sept 4).

Garcia is a 23-years-old, black, 5’7″ in height, a slim build with short black hair, brown eyes, a mustache/goatee and was last seen wearing a white HCCC shirt and blue HCCC shorts.

Wanat is caucasian, 5’11” tall, 210 pounds, a medium build with a shaved head, brown eyes, mustache/goatee and last seen wearing a white HCCC shirt and blue HCCC shorts.

Police ask that anyone with information on the escapees call 9-1-1.
