MEDIA RELEASE
Last weekend’s racing at Subaru Ironman Canada, Ironman Louisville and Ironman 70.3 Brazil was the final chance for pros to move themselves up the Kona Points Ranking (KPR). That means we now know who will be on the start line for the Ironman World Championship on Oct. 12, 2013.
For 12 months the pros have raced around the globe earning valuable KPR points to secure one of the coveted 35 women’s or 50 men’s starting positions.
As always there will be stellar fields heading to Hawaii, with an exciting mix of cagey veterans and talented first timers.
