Kona burglary, theft reports (May 24-30)

Kona Community Policing staff compile a weekly listing of burglaries and thefts in the West Hawaii community. This update covers May 24-30.

BURGLARIES

No burglaries occurred in the Kona District this week.

UCPV (STOLEN VEHICLE)

On May 25, a reported UCPV in the 5800 block of Napoopoo Rd., a 2000 gray Mazda B3000 pickup with HI Lic# HAJ297 was taken.

On May 26, a reported UCPV in the 7200 block of Mamalahoa Hwy., a white 2005 Toyota Corolla 4dsd with HI Lic# NSA579 was taken.

On May 28, a reported UCPV on Ane Keohokalole Hwy., a 2000 white Ford Ranger pickup with HI Lic# 445TRS was taken.

On May 28, a reported UCPV in the 1100 block of Konawaena School Rd., a 1990 gray Honda Accord 4dsd with HI Lic# FVR081 was taken.

On May 29, a reported UCPV on Kuakini Hwy., a 1999 blue Toyota Tacoma pickup with HI Lic# KSM382 was taken.

UEMV (THEFT FROM VEHICLE)

On May 29, a reported UEMV in the 5700 block of Lamaokeola St. All items recovered near the scene.

On May 29, a reported UEMV in the 100 block of Alakai St. Paper Items taken.

On May 29, a reported UEMV in the 100 block of Alakai St. A placard and strobe light was taken.

On May 29, a reported UEMV in the 100 block of Alakai St. Miscellaneous items taken.

On May 30, a reported UEMV in the 6500 block of Marlin Rd. A coin collection was taken.
