Hawaii Electric Light Company advises customers of a power outage affecting the Paauilo area from Kukaiau to Kalopa this Friday morning, February 8, from 1:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 a.m. to allow HELCO personnel to safely perform emergency substation repairs.

HELCO recommends unplugging sensitive equipment prior to the power interruption. If there are any critical medical needs, other arrangements should be made.
