Kona Christmas parade winners

MEDIA RELEASE

The Kailua-Kona Christmas Parade Committee has announced the award winners for the 28th annual Christmas Parade with it’s theme “Let’s Be Jolly!”, held Saturday. Dec. 15.

There were 77 entries, with over 1,800 individuals in the parade, and thousands of joyful spectators lining the streets to watch.

Winners may pick up their awards at the Kona Mayor’s office at the West Hawaii Civic center, beginning on Friday, Dec. 21.

The Parade Committee wishes to extend a warm mahalo to its sponsors, dozens of volunteers, all the entrants for their hard work and excellent results, and especially to those attending for helping to make the 2012 Christmas Parade a great event.
