Bills elevate Silva to active roster

MEDIA RELEASE

The Bills made a roster move late in the week prior to their Week 10 matchup at New England. Buffalo elevated safety Mana Silva from the active roster Friday.

The 24-year-old Kamehameha Schools Hawaii graduate was originally signed to Buffalo’s practice squad Oct. 2.

Silva has appeared in five NFL games in his career, all with the Dallas Cowboys over the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

This season was Silva’s second go round on the Bills practice squad. He spent Weeks 10-14 on Buffalo’s practice squad last season.

To make room for Silva on the roster the Bills waived rookie safety Delano Howell. Silva will wear jersey No. 30.
