South Kona Green Market returns to Greenwell Garden

The County Council passed the legislation allowing the South Kona Green to return to The Amy B. H. Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden.

Mayor Billy Kenoi still needs to sign the bill, but he has indicated he will approve it.

Kealakekua Ranch Center hosted the market the last two years, but it will return Sunday, Oct. 21 to its original space across from the Manago Hotel and adjacent to Yano Hall.

It is billed as a “soft open,” with plans underway for a frand reopening.
