Waimea Elementary School Thrift Shop sale (Oct. 13)

MEDIA RELEASE

Waimea Elementary School Thrift Shop is bursting at the seams with generous community donations so will host a “Container Clearance Sale” 8 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Oct. 13.

The sale will feature terrific bargains priced 50 cents and up.

All items have been carefully sorted to be sure they are new or in gently used condition – no spots, no missing buttons, zippers working, etc. The sale will feature a wide array of items including a wide selection of keiki and adult clothing for school, work and play, including pants, jeans, slacks, blouses and shirts.

Also on sale will be Halloween costumes and decorations, cookbooks and two beautiful wedding gowns, both white, but one is beautifully traditional and one is a beaded Filipino classic.

Waimea Elementary School Thrift Shop is tucked in the back of Waimea Elementary School’s campus – near the post office entry to the school campus. It is best to park behind – or south of – Kamuela Post Office in the gravel lot and walk in.

During the Saturday Container Clearance Sale when discounted items will be on display in the nearby open air pavilion, the regular thrift shop also will be open.

The shop is regularly open 1-3 p.m. Wednesdays and 8 a.m.-noon Saturdays.
