Police have charged a former Pepeʻekeo man for a break-in that occurred in February of this year in Pepeʻekeo.
Today at 10:00 a.m. (September 12, 2012) after conferring with prosecutors, Ralph Curtis Riveira, 54, of no permanent address, was charged for one count of first degree unauthorized entry into a dwelling. Bail for Riveira was set at $5,000.00 and he is scheduled to make his initial court appearance this afternoon.
On February 17, 2012 at about 10:35 a.m., a 59-year-old Pepeʻekeo man called police and reported that while at home, he discovered an unknown male in his home. The male suspect fled the area after being confronted by the home owner.
Detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigation Section continued the investigation and Riveira was identified as the suspect.
