Lions Club sponsors Vision Van in West Hawaii (Aug. 24-25)

The Hawaii Lions and West Hawaii Lions Clubs will be conducting free vision screening in various locations in West Hawaii.

A partnership between Hawaii Lions, and Project Vision Hawaii, allows community members to get their vision screened for free.

The Vision Van will be open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 in the Kona K-Mart, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25 at Keauhou Shopping Center and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26 at Kealakekua Ranch Center/Choicemart in Captain Cook.

The Lions will take the vision van 8 a.m.-noon Sept. 1 to the Ocean View Farmers Market for free vision screening.

The Lions Clubs will also be accepting your used eyeglasses and/or used hearing aids for recycling.

Lions Clubs participating in this free vision screening include the Kailua Kona Lions Club, Kaloko Branch club, and The Lions Club of Kona.
