Menehune Coffee conducted a blessing and hosted its grand opening on the Fourth of July in the King Kamehameha Shops next to the Kailua Pier (where Palani Road turns into Alii Drive).

Owners Melanie and Kaipo Sheen also grow Kona coffee in Captain Cook and are pleased to offer up java drinks and treats at their new store.

Kumu Ulalia Berman presided over blessing with staff, family, friends and visitors.

Besides Kona coffee, cappuccino, espresso, and tea, Menehune Coffee also serves paninis, wraps, salads, desserts and breakfast.

Call in your orders at 238-5154 and pick it up outside the cafe by the banyan tree and Kailua Pier.
