MEDIA RELEASE

Kamehameha Schools alumni, family & friends are invited to attend an “Alumni Helping Alumni” (AHA) Business Showcase and meeting 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at the West Hawaii Civic Center Community Meeting Hale (Building G).

Alumni are invited to sign up for the event’s “trade show” to promote their business. Each participant in the show will have a presentation table and an opportunity to speak to the attendees about their business.

Mayor Billy Kenoi will address the group on the importance of small business to the island’s economy. A question and answer session will follow.

Refreshments will be provided after the mayor’s presentation.

“The AHA gives Kamehameha School alumni the opportunity to network and share information about their business,” said Sharon Goodman, president of the Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association, West Hawaii.

“I encourage all alumni who are interested in networking and supporting small business in Hawaii to participate and attend,” Goodman said.

The alumni association is sponsoring this event.
