By Hawaii 24/7 Staff

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has cancelled the wind advisory for Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea. Winds have decreased to 10-15 mph.

East facing shores will see short periods of surf generated by the strong trade winds. A South swell is expected early next week.

A small craft advisory is in effect through 6 a.m. Wednesday (June 27) for the Pailolo and Alenuihaha Channels along with Big Island Leeward and Southeast waters.
