Bank of Hawaii to celebrate opening of Kona branch

On Monday, June 25, Bank of Hawaii will celebrate the grand opening of its new branch in the Kona Commons Shopping Center.

Grand opening festivities will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include entertainment, refreshments, giveaways and other activities. The public is invited to attend.

The new branch will occupy 6,926 sq. ft. and replaces the current Kona branch location at 75- 5595 Palani Rd., which is about one-mile away.

The branch will be staffed with 29 employees all transferring from the current location.

* Business Hours:
Monday – Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The Kona Branch has a photovoltaic (PV) roof system to help supplement the branch’s energy needs and save on energy costs.

The branch was built by Hilo-based Isemoto Contracting Company, Ltd.
