Kahele touts 2012 Legislature accomplishments

MEDIA RELEASE

Hawaii Island District 2 state Sen. Gilbert Kahele’s 2012 legislative accomplishments included $35 million in new projects for Hawaii Island.

Kahele will host a 2012 Legislative Update for East Hawaii residents 5 p.m. June 19 at Hilo High School Cafeteria.

“This year’s session was extremely productive for Hawaii Island. The CIP projects and legislation I was able to lobby for and achieve would not have been possible without the help of our Big Island Legislative team in the House and Senate. It is always a team effort as all of us strive every day to improve the quality of life for our Hawaii Island families.
