Dennis White's Jeep
Big Island police are renewing their request for information about the location of a car belonging to a man found dead in lower Puna on January 17, 2012.
The body of 62-year-old Dennis Eugene White of Kapoho was found partially submerged near the shoreline in the vicinity of Isaac Hale Beach Park in Pohoiki. An autopsy determined that he died from a head injury.
Although police have not ruled out foul play, the case is currently classified as a coroner’s inquest. Detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigations Section are continuing the investigation.
White’s car was a black or dark green 1998 Jeep Wrangler with a tan soft top with license plate HDY 926. White was last seen driving the Jeep alone in the area of Papaya Farms Road in Kapoho in the early evening hours of January 16.

He ain’t Heavy he’s my brother, to this date nothing has been found about who killed my brother. He was my last remaining bro, the other two were killed 4 years apart on Easter Weekend. I got him home to the mainland, but no help except for some VA benefits. I am ill myself and had to clean houses to pay off the loan to get my Dead Brother home. To the person’s who took my brother from the hiway where he was last seen , said ” he was not driving impared. Yet, he had 3.12 alcohol in his system, along with his medication which was in overdose in his blood. I have visions, I was the only girl child 2 bros older and one younger than me. We were tight! I know he was forced to drink until he was out of it then they shoved pills down his throat. There were 4 people involved. 3 men, one with long hair, and one woman who had blond hair done in a bi-level soft curls she watched and screamed at him to drink or die now… after they hid his Jeep to later be chopped, they stripped him of all his clothing and tossed him in the ocean where Tiger Sharks and Lava rock no beaches … thanks to hikers he was found only a few hours in the water with a broken neck or head injury, yet not any marks on his body. Hey if I was that drunk I would have fallen down a hundred times before hitting the ocean. Damn you for you will get caught if not by the police then by Karma what goes around comes around.
