1,900 feet of Kamaka‘eha Street, from the south entrance of Macy’s at Makalapua Center to Palani Road in North Kona, will close Wednesday, January 18 to February 18, 2012. Motorists are asked to use Makala Blvd. from the Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway intersection to and from Makalapua Center. The 24- hour road closure is to reconstruct the intersection between Kamaka‘eha Ave. and Palani Road (opposite the Fire Station).
