Gifts sought for Sunday’s Child Foundation

MEDIA RELEASE

On Sunday, Dec. 11, Sunday’s Child Foundation is hosting a Christmas Party for at-risk youth and children in foster care, ages 5 to 17, at Anaehoomalu Bay in front of the Marriott Waikoloa Beach Resort & Spa. There will be food, entertainment, gifts and water-sport activities from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Sunday’s Child Foundation is asking for the community’s help in providing gifts for our keiki. We are in need of gifts for teen-aged kids, and gift certificates to eateries, like Burger King, McDonald’s & Subway are great options, because we know these kids need to eat.

If you would like to donate a gift, please drop off an unwrapped toy or gift at either Ocean Sports in the Queen’s Shops or at Dr. John Stover’s Cosmetic Center in Waimea or Kona.

Your donations are appreciated and will help to bring joy to some 80 under-privileged children on our island. Sunday’s Child Foundation’s primary focus is to provide services and support to at-risk children on the Hawaiian Islands.

For more information about the event or to register a child, call 987-1496 or visit www.sundayschildfoundation.org
