Secret Santas sought for Family Support Hawaii

MEDIA RELEASE

Family Support Hawaii is currently seeking “Secret Santas” to help make its Kalikimaka No Na Keiki (Christmas for the Children) campaign a success.

Whether individuals choose to donate purchased gifts or make monetary donations, Family Support Hawaii (FSH) welcomes any contributions that will help bring joy to our community’s children this holiday season.

Project coordinator Gabriella Cooper worked with FSH in identifying more than 150 local children whose families are struggling to make ends meet in this difficult economy.

For the parents of these families, the holidays emphasize their plight when they must choose between meeting basic needs or buying Christmas gifts for their children. Bringing joy to these children by making sure each one has at least one Christmas present to open represents the true spirit of aloha and ohana.

Becoming a Secret Santa is easy — you can either “adopt” the children of a family or make a monetary donation. Our team will do the rest.

For more information on how to make a real difference in a child’s life this Christmas, contact Gabriella Cooper at 328-9696 or kamana001@hawaii.rr.com no later than Dec. 1.

All contributions, large and small, are greatly appreciated and tax deductible.
