By Hawaii 24/7 Staff

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a High Surf Advisory for East facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands until 6 p.m. this evening (Nov 29).

Surf is forecast to be in the six to eight foot range creating large breaking waves, rip currents and localized beach erosion. Beachgoers should be cautious due to the rough surf.

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect until noon today for the Pailolo and Alenuihaha Channels and waters South of the Big Island.
