Big Island police are searching for a 27-year-old Paʻauilo man wanted for questioning in an attempted assault investigation. The man is identified as Dayne Victorino.
HÄmÄkua Patrol officers responded to a call for service on Tuesday (November 1) where there was a report of a domestic disturbance at a home on Pikake Street in HonokaÊ»a. Upon arrival, officers observed a verbal dispute between Victorino and another man. Victorino was observed operating a late-model Toyota pickup truck, which struck a fence fronting the house and almost struck three bystanders.
Victorino is described as a local male, 5-foot-8, 185 pounds with brown eyes, short shaved hair, and a mustache and goatee.
Police ask than anyone with information on his whereabouts call Detective Wendall Carter at 961-2378 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
