“Tropix” Performs at ‘Imiloa and Fairmont Orchid Saturday and Sunday (Nov 5, 6)

“Tropix,” featuring Brazilian violinist Manoela Wunder and Big Island guitarist Philip Simmons, performs two recitals this weekend in Hilo and on the Kohala Coast. On Saturday, November 5, 7PM, they debut in a free concert at the ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center. For reservations please call 808-969-9719.

Sunday, November 6, 7PM, “Tropix” performs a benefit program at the Fairmont Orchid. Tickets are $25 and are available at the door, or can be purchased in advance at the Kona Wine Market, The Great 4-D Movie Ride (Shops at Mauna Lani), or online at the Orchestra of the Hawaiian Islands website, www.americanmusicfestivals.com. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the new Instrumental Music Program at Parker School.
