High Surf Advisory extended for East facing shores until 6 a.m. Wednesday (Oct 19)

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended a High Surf Advisory for East facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui and the Big Island until 6 a.m. Wednesday (Oct 19).

Surf ranging from five to eight feet is forecast for East facing shores. Dangerous rip currents and beach erosion can occur.

A Northwest swell is forecast to arrive Sunday (Oct 23) which should last much of next week.
