Kailua Village Business Improvement District issues 2012 RFPs

The Kailua Village Business Improvement District is seeking responses to its Request for Proposal (RFP) for clean and safe initiatives.

KVBID is pleased with the new standards being set in Historic Kailua Village. In accordance with principles of maintaining good governance procedures, the Kailua Village Business Improvement District has issued Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for 2012 service contracts.

Three separate proposal requests have been issued: security services, janitorial services and landscape maintenance services.

Interested parties are encouraged to review the RFPs and respond. Deadline for submission is Nov. 1, 2011.

The mission of the Kailua Village Business Improvement District is to make Kailua Village a model sustainable community that is a better place to invest, work, live and play.

KVBID is working cooperatively to improve and maintain the physical appearance and aesthetics of public right of ways, open space and parks, increase cleanliness and security, and attract long term sustainable business and community activity in Kailua Village.
