Wind Advisory for Big Island summits until Saturday (July 9)

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Wind Advisory for the summits of the Big Island. Northeast winds of 30-40 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are forecast.

The strong winds can make driving difficult especially for high profile vehicles. Drivers should use caution.
