The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Wind Advisory for the summits on Maui above 6,000 feet and on the Big Island above 8,000 feet until 6 a.m. Friday (July 8).

Winds around 30 mph are forecast with gusts up to 40 mph. These strong winds can make driving difficult especially for high profile vehicles. Drivers should use extra caution.
