Fire in Waikoloa Village destroys home Tuesday (July 5)

Fire/rescue responded to a 4:23 p.m. alarm Tuesday (July 5) to 68-3820 Manuaihue Place in Waikoloa Village for a structure fire.

Upon arrival firefighters found a home fully engulfed in flames which crews fought and brought under control in 30 minutes. There were no known occupants of the residence and an inspector notes that the cause of the blaze is suspicious in nature.

The home is reported to be a total loss estimated at $310,500. There were no injuries reported in the blaze.
