The 8th Annual Ironman 70.3 Hawaii welcomes approximately 1,600 triathletes this weekend.

The race includes a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and 13.1-mile run.

It starts 7 a.m. Saturday at Hapuna Beach Park. The bike course runs to Hawi and back, while the run weaves through The Fairmont Orchid resort grounds.

Awards presentation is 4 p.m. at Honu Point.
