Konawaena’s GoGreen Club going dark (April 21)

MEDIA RELEASE

Happy Earth Month! On this special occasion, the GoGreen Club is promoting “Earth Hour” at Konawaena High School again this year.

Konawaena’s “Earth Hour” consists of turning off all our lights noon-1 p.m. Thursday, April 21 (Earth Day is on Good Friday) and the club would love for everyone to participate.

Not only will you be helping to save the earth, you’ll be saving money on your school or business electric bill.

According to GoGreen’s research, noon is the brightest time of the day in Hawaii. So open your windows and let the sun shine!
