HPA presents ‘Journey Through Broadway’ (April 21-22)

Hawaii Preparatory Academy will present “Journey Through Broadway” at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 21 and Friday, April 22 at the school’s Gates Performing Arts Center.

Tickets, which only are available at the door, are $10 for one night and $15 for both nights.

“We have so much music to offer that each night will feature some different numbers,” said Marina Tichotsky, Upper School music teacher and show director.

“Journey Through Broadway” features 40 Upper School students singing Broadway show tunes from the 1930s to the present.

Selections are from shows that include Annie, Anyone Can Whistle, Anything Goes, Bye Bye Birdie, Camelot, Candide, Chorus Line, Fiddler on the Roof, Gypsy, How to Succeed in Business, In the Heights, Little Women, Man of La Mancha, Pippin, Side Show, Songs for a New World, Sound of Music, South Pacific, Sweeney Todd, West Side Story, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, and more.
