Local artist Alex Gupton says he has a problem.

His new pen & ink and watercolor original work needs a title and he’s offering a print of the triptych’s center panel to whoever provides the best name.

The work features a honu, or green sea turtle, swimming over a coral reef in the 23×50 center panel. The side panels – measuring 23×30 each – depict two Moorish Idols and an octopus.

“If you are up for a challenge, we would love your help in naming this piece,” Gupton said. “You can see more pictures of this new piece on my website.”

Gupton said entries may be posted on his Facebook page or emailed to info@alexgupton.com.

The winner of the naming contest will receive your title a 16×20 matted giclee print of the middle honu panel, a $175 value.

The contest ends April 15.
