The National Weather Service has cancelled the winter weather advisory for Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa summits on the Big Island as of 3:29 p.m Summit conditions have improved during the day.

Although the Mauna Kea access road was declared open at 10:48 a.m. road conditions can be hazardous due to slippery roads and limited visibility.
