Hawaii Island Humane Society’s Hawaii Horse Expo 2011 is slated for Aug. 5-7 on the Big Island. Proceeds from the annual event benefit the Humane Society’s Horse Rescue Fund, which helps abused and abandoned horses on the island.

Event organizers have already begun to confirm an impressive list of nationally and internationally noted experts who will share their knowledge in a variety of horse-related disciplines during three days of clinics and demonstrations that include personal interaction to enhance attendees’ learning.

TV Star Rick Lamb has been a presenter & moderator at Hawaii Horse Expo the past three years.

Expert clinicians at the 2010 Hawaii Horse Expo included Western Horseman’s cover girl Tammy Pate, Road to the Horse Champion Richard Winters, equine behaviorist Dr. Robert Miller, biting expert Dale Myler, certified veterinary acupuncturist Dr. Jody Bearman, and TV star Rick Lamb.
