VASH benefit lunch aboard Golden Princess (March 21)

MEDIA RELEASE

On Monday, March 21, island residents will have the opportunity to go onboard the Golden Princess cruise ship in Hilo Harbor to enjoy a luncheon, silent auction and ship’s tour.

The event will also honor Prosecuting Attorney Jay Kimura who will be retiring in April.

Princess Cruises is hosting the event as a benefit for VASH Hawaii Island. In addition to assisting visitors who are victims of crime, VASH is often called to assist cruise ship passengers when medical emergencies force them to disembark for hospital care.

Reservations for the luncheon event must be made by Wednesday, March 9 with all required security information provided. Note that parking is not available on the pier; parking will be at Wong Stadium with buses to and from the pier at scheduled times.

A silent auction will be held preceding lunch. Donations of auction gifts are also being sought.

For reservation forms and information about the event, please email info@vashbigisland.org or call Linda at 808-756-0392.
