Mayor Billy Kenoi celebrated Scout Sunday and the 101st year Anniversary of scouting at Kona Hongwanji Buddhist church in Kealakekua.

He told the scouts to dream, work hard, don’t give up, and always treat everyone with kindness, respect, and aloha. He said it is like the Golden Chain of Love, which also says to be kind.

Kenoi also presented badges to the scouts.
