Big Island police find 82 year-old Kona man reported missing

MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island Police are searching for a 82-year-old Kona man who was reported missing on Sunday, January 9, 2011, at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Antonio Ignacio of Napoopoo Road, South Kona, was last seen at the Corner Pocket Bar in Kealakekua on Friday, January 7, 2011, at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Ignacio is described as approximately 5-foot-8, 160 pounds, thinning white hair, white beard, last seen wearing a long sleeve flannel shirt and dark pants.

Police are asking that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or Officer Michael Rutkowski at 808-326-4646, ext. 253.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300 in Hilo or 808-329-1818 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is confidential.

Big island Police have located 82-year-old Antonio Ignacio, who was reported missing. He was located in Napoopoo, South Kona, unharmed.
