Hiroshima Prefecture Gov. Hidehiko Yuzaki and Hiroshima Prefectural Assembly of Japan chairman Masao Hayashi and 13 other government officials arrived Tuesday evening at the Kona International Airport.

They were greeted by president of the Kona Hiroshima Kenjin Kai Claudia Chang, county deputy planning director Margaret Masunaga (on behalf of Mayor Billy Kenoi), Marni Herkes for the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce, Uki & Merna Izawa from the Kona Japanese Civic Association, and other members of the Kona Hiroshima Kenjin Kai club.
