Hurley selected PacWest Player of the Week

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Hawai‘i Hilo junior middle blocker Hillary-Lucy Hurley (Anderson, Calif./Enterprise) has been named the Pacific West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.

The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, Ariz., on Monday, Oct. 11, for matches played Oct. 4-10.

Hurley guided the Vulcans to a 2-0 week with a pair of conference victories at Dominican (Calif.). She led the PacWest in kills per game (6.33), hitting percentage (.413) and scoring after posting 6.67 points per set.

She totaled 40 points in six games on 38 kills and four block assists while committing just seven hitting errors in 75 attempts.
