Parker School debate team earns prestigious recognition

MEDIA RELEASE

The Parker School Debate Team has received significant recognition by the National Forensic League (NFL) for their accomplishments during the 2009-2010 school year.

The team achieved 100 degrees or more last year and has placed in the top 10 percent of National Forensic Chapters nationwide, earning membership into the NFL’s prestigious 100 Club.

Students participating in debate at Parker School benefit from learning essential life skills in communication, research, listening, writing and organization.

The 24 member 2010-2011 Parker School Debate Team promises to build on this momentum as they travel Ot. 2 to Oahu to participate in the season opener, the Le Jardin Debate Non-Qualifying Tournament.
