Cabico tied for 5th at WWU/Viking Invitational

Neil Cabico is tied for fifth place after two rounds of the Western Washington/Viking Invitational on the Bellingham Golf and Country Club (WA).

The senior turned in a 3-under-par 69 in the morning’s first round and was tied for third. In the afternoon round, Cabico turned in a 1-over-par 73 to finish the day at 2-under-par 142, seven strokes behind tournament leader Brian Barhonovich (63-71=135) of host Western Washington.

Blake Snyder is tied for 15th place at even-par 144 (75-69). Travis Russell is tied fro 41st place at 5-over-par 149 (77-72). Both Corey Kozuma and Christopher Armanini turned in rounds of 76 and 74 for finish the day at 6-over-par 150 and tied for 45th place.

Western Washington and Cal State Monterey Bay are tied for the team lead at 576. Tied in third place are Chico State and Sonoma State (578) followed by Dixie State (582), Cal State Stanislaus (583), UH Hilo and St. Martin’s (584), Cal State East Bay (585), Grand Canyon (590), UC San Diego (597), Academy of Art (598), Northwest Nazarene (613), Simon Fraser (614) and Montana State Billings (621).
