Alaska Airlines launches ‘Hawaii Now’ fare sale

Low fares starting at $149 available on all Hawaii flights through Nov. 10

SEATTLE Ëœ Alaska Airlines today launched a “Hawaii Now” fare sale, featuring low fares to Hawaii’s most popular vacation destinations from several West Coast cities, including Anchorage, Alaska, Seattle, Portland, Ore., the Bay Area, Sacramento, Calif., and San Diego. One-way fares start as low as $149 for flights from West Coast destinations and $199 for flights from Alaska.

“Travel to Hawaii has never been more affordable,” said Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of marketing. “The Hawaii Now sale offers travelers Alaska’s award-winning service for one of the lowest fares available anywhere on the West Coast.”
Tickets must be purchased by Aug. 15 and travel completed by Nov. 10, 2010.

As part of the Hawaii Now fare sale, Alaska Airlines Vacations is offering up to $250 off a full line of complete vacation packages for reservations made www.alaskaair.com/vacations. Bookings must be made by Sept. 30, 2010, for travel between Aug. 6, 2010, and Jan. 11, 2011. Packages include air transportation, hotel accommodations, ground transportation and tours. Vacations packages are available for travel to Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii.

All Hawaii flights are operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, accommodating 16 passengers in first class and 141 in the main cabin. Inflight service includes meals for purchase in the main cabin, complimentary meal service in first class and Alaska Airlines’ digEplayer, a personal entertainment system offering a variety of movies, television shows, music and other features.

    Sure that sounds cheap, however when you add in your return flight, bagage fees, taxes, and god forbid if you get hungry on the flight, your back up to the normal prices for flights to Hawai'i. If you need to get a connecting flight to another Hawaiian island, figure $500.00 – WHAT A DEAL!
