The state Land Use Commission will again consider the Ooma Beachside Village request to rezone 181 acres of land currently in the Conservation District into the Urban District.

The public hearing continuation is the second item on the agenda. The meeting begins 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 15 at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.

Public testimony will be heard after the parties call their final witnesses. If you cannot attend the LUC meeting, testimony may be emailed to luc@dbedt.hawaii.gov.
