Hawaii Island police have located 31-year-old Sarah Morlock, who was reported missing. She turned herself in at the PÄhoa police substation at 2:22 p.m. Friday (June 25). She was unharmed.

The Department of Public Works, Traffic Division has converted this intersection to a three-way stop at Middle Ke‘ei Road & Painted Church Road. This is being done to make the intersection safer because of the limited sight distance at this location in South Kona.

Fire department crews found the remains of a missing opihi picker Joseph Pacheco Jr. Friday morning (June 25). The remains of Pacheco were found at a depth of 25 feet and 20 feet offshore fronting his last known location. The remains were found by rescue divers on their second dive of the day.
