Effective 8 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2010, the Honokaa Fire Station will be temporarily relocated due to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) renovations and the removal and abatement of hazardous materials repairs. It is hoped that the relocation will be short in duration.

Honokaa Fire Station personnel will be temporarily stationed at a residence located at 45-3279 Mamane Street (Highway 240). The residence is located on the Hilo side of the permanent station approximately ¼ mile south on Mamane Street.

All emergencies should continue to be routed through 9-1-1.
