Police investigating theft of four motorcycles in Honaunau

Big Island police are investigating the theft of four motorcycles last week from West Hawai’i. The motorcycles were stolen from a property off Bruno Road in Hōnaunau between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28.

The stolen items were identified as a 2009 Kawasaki KX 250F, a 2007 Kawasaki KX 65, a 2004 Honda CRF 50F and a 1994 Honda XR 80.

Police ask that anyone with information about the identity of the thieves or the location of the motorcycles call Officer Stephen Parker at 326-4646, extension 253, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
