Healthcare on Kona Town Meeting agenda (April 13)

How will Healthcare Reform help community health centers? Where is Kaiser building its new clinic in Kona and what are the clinic’s features? What is the outlook for Hawaii’s Healthcare Systems?

Guest speakers include Dr. Josh Green, Hawaii State Senate, District 3; Dr. Daryl Kurozawa, associate medical director for Neighbor Islands for Kaiser Permanente; and Richard Taaffe, executive director of the West Hawaii Community Health Center.

The Kona Town Meeting is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, at Makaeo Events Pavilion, at the old Kona Airport Park.

Kona Town Meetings are presented by Community Enterprises, a non-partisan, non-profit organization, to provide vital information on community concerns to Kona citizens. Light refreshments will be served.
