Weekend peace vigils with malu Aina ohana (April 10-11)

MEDIA RELEASE

Join the islandwide roving peace vigil for all or part this weekend.

Saturday, April 10
* 9-10 a.m. Bayfront Hilo,
* 11 a.m.-noon Honokaa (Highway by Tex’s Drive In)
* 1-2 p.m. Waimea fronting Foodland,
* 3-4 p.m. Waikoloa Village by Shopping Center

Sunday, April 11
* 9-10 a.m. Volcano Highway 11 Wright Road
* 11 a.m.-noon Naalehu theater
* 1-2 p.m. Captain Cook across Manago Hotel,
* 3-4 p.m. Kailua Pier

We also need your help in organizing for peace and justice. Come to the organizing meetings 7-9 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at the Keaau Community Center. The next meetings are April 12 and 26. Among items to be discussed will be evaluating this weekend’s roving vigil and the military’s refusal to participate in a balanced public forum on radiation contamination here in Hawaii.
