The committees on Human Services and Housing held an informational briefing at the Aging and Disability Resource Center in Hilo Thursday (March 25) to review the proposed reduction in services by the Department of Human Services (DHS).

The committee listened to the public to ascertain the adverse impact the reduction may have on families, individuals, the disabled, the elderly, and DHS state workers. Issues relating to Community Care Homes were also discussed.
